I graduated with a degree in Communications Studies from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. After graduation, I moved to Athens, Georgia, where I took a job in PR and social media strategy.

I'm a wife, mom, born-and-raised Texan, podcast host, author, commentator, and speaker. I'm passionate about helping women build their worldview upon the truth of God's Word.

a little about me...

My first book, You're Not Enough (& That's Okay): Escaping the Toxic Culture of Self-Love, is available now, and I couldn't be more excited! In this age of what I call "trendy narcissism," young women are bombarded with the myth that self-love is all we need for satisfaction. The truth is, self-love, self-empowerment, self-fulfillment, self-whatever will ultimately lead to a dead end of disappointment.  In the book, we bust five of society's most popular cultural myths, such as "you can't love other people until you love yourself" and "you determine your own truth." These are superficial lies that, when believed, have both personal and societal ramifications. Thankfully, the Bible gives us truthful alternatives that show us a better way.

In addition to podcasting and writing, I also speak to various organizations across the country about the importance of constructing a biblical worldview. In these ever-chaotic times, my goal is to help young women think critically and biblically about the world around us.

A lot happened in Athens that helped put me where I am today. I met my husband at a gym (I know—romantic) in 2014; we were married by the fall of 2015. It was soon after our wedding that, still working full-time, I decided I wanted to encourage college students to vote in the presidential primaries. I started with a group I knew I could relate to: sorority girls. I visited chapter meetings and gave a non-partisan presentation on why they should vote. It was then that I knew I wanted to make a career out of talking to young women about things that matter.

In 2016, I started a Facebook page called The Conservative Millennial. After a few months, my videos on the page started to take off—getting hundreds of thousands and then millions of views. In 2017, I took a job at TheBlaze as a contributor and began offering commentary on a variety of Fox News shows. By 2018, I'd moved over to CRTV, where I started my podcast, Relatable. TheBlaze and CRTV have since merged into BlazeTV, which now distributes my show. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we analyze culture, news, politics and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective.
